Before closing, it’s critical to tie up everything tied to your asset residential or commercial. That includes canceling or transferring services like electricity, water, gas, internet, and waste management. For commercial properties, consider terminating vendor contracts, security services, maintenance agreements, or IT infrastructure. For smart homes or tech-enabled buildings, disconnect cameras, reset smart systems, and clear digital access to protect your privacy and data. These final steps aren’t just administrative they protect your asset, your information, your security, and your peace of mind.

If you can’t attend in person, we can coordinate a remote signing or power of attorney in advance. Once complete, funds are wired directly to your account, or a check is issued on-site. You’ll hand over the keys, and I’ll make sure the new buyer receives everything they need.
